Yuri started brokering bitcoin as early as 2013 and has acquired vast expertise since then. After working for a large trading firm and founding a bitcoin kiosk company in Canada, he decided to commit full-time to his own venture with the goal of helping onboard the next wave of long-term bitcoin investors and true believers in the new financial paradigm.
Nik has been in bitcoin since 2012, where he has worked with wallet and exchange start-ups in North America, helping to develop and lead their strategic visions. Mr. Oraevskiy was also involved with international finance and fund management out of Liechtenstein before starting down the brokerage path with the goal of bringing bitcoin to the world at large.
Andrew first got involved with bitcoin in early 2017 while active duty in the US Marines. Since then, one of his primary motivations for bitcoin adoption is the separation of money and state, which he believes can lead to a more peaceful world. He has been CBDO at Bitcoin Reserve since 2020, handling interactions with our high-net-worth and corporate clients, hosting the Bitcoin Reserve Podcast, facilitating partnerships, and more. Andrew has appeared on several media outlets such as Forbes, Once Bitten, and Bitcoin Magazine.
Michael has been in the bitcoin space since 2017. Educating himself through the 2018-19 bear market, he became convinced bitcoin’s superior sound money qualities and the ingenious game theory behind its protocol, will eventually make it the global reserve currency. As he puts it, “That separation of state and money will bring about Renaissance 2.0”. Before joining Bitcoin Reserve, Michael worked in event organization and marketing communications in the maritime and offshore industries.
After catching the bitcoin bug in 2016, John has been continuously going down the endless rabbit hole learning about bitcoin and its larger implications. John spent the last 15 years as an engineering leader at one of largest technology companies in the world. In 2019 he started working full time on bitcoin tech and now spends most of his time building out the tech platform for Bitcoin Reserve.
Adam is a software engineer who has been obsessed with bitcoin since 2013. He feels that the most critical elements of bitcoin's design are censorship resistance, self-custody and absolute scarcity. Prior to joining Bitcoin Reserve, Adam held roles at companies in the Industrial Automation and High Performance Computing sectors.
Siim started consulting cryptocurrency companies in 2016 in Estonia, one of the first countries in the world to offer a regulatory framework for bitcoin ventures. Although he believes that bitcoin itself cannot be regulated, exchange companies need oversight to weed out the fraud and money-laundering that unfortunately come with unregulated activities.
